37th Annual Rainbow Auction
Saturday, April 25, 2020

The Rainbow Auction is our signature fundraising event!  Over 300 guests with a passion for and commitment to Catholic education come together each year for an evening of food, fun, friendship, and bidding to celebrate and support our school.

The evening kicks off with our silent auction, which features art and décor, household items, toys and games, food and drink, gift certificates, and much more—all generously donated from local and regional businesses, parishioners, and our school families.  After enjoying a delicious meal we launch right into our live auction, which includes everything from awesome vacations/stay-cations and sports event packages to dining excursions and one-of-a-kind experiences.

All funds raised at the Auction help us to reach our financial goals in order to provide tuition assistance, vital improvements in classrooms and around campus, and funds for academic programs that that enrich the curriculum for all students at Muskegon Catholic Central.

Be sure to save the date for our 37th Annual Rainbow Auction on April 25, 2020!

There are many ways to be involved with the Rainbow Auction.

Donate

Each year the Auction offers quality items, generously donated by individuals and businesses throughout the area and the MCC community. To donate a silent or live auction item, contact the Education Foundation at 231.291.0326 or print the auction donation form

Popular donation items include:

  • Getaways: vacation homes, hotel/resort stays
  • Tickets: to sports, concerts, theater, theme parks
  • Fun kid activities: music, sports, lessons
  • Gift certificates: restaurants, spas, and boutiques
  • Unique, money-can't-buy experiences: behind-the-scenes tours and VIP treatments for special events

Be an Auction Hero!

Auction Heroes are those who generously contribute a minimum donation of $50 to Rainbow Auction. In turn, an auction item with the minimum value of $50 will be purchased for the Silent Auction and the donor will be listed as “Auction Hero”. Auction Heroes will be listed in the event catalog given out to each guest and available online.

Donations can be made payable to: MCEF or online.

Sponsor

Sponsorship and underwriting are critical to the success of the Auction each year. Your tax-deductible financial contribution makes a significant impact. Please consider donating to the Rainbow Auction this year.

Volunteer

Each year the funds raised from the Auction equip and empower MCC students to become Christ-centered individuals with a strong academic foundation. It takes volunteers to make all this possible. The growth of our school and its programs is largely determined by the support of the greater community. When just one individual chooses to engage, there is a tremendous impact. Whether you are a parent, alumni, grandparent, faculty member, treasured friend or local businessperson your help is paramount to the success of this event. For this reason we ask that you consider becoming part of the Auction Committee and donating your time and talent.

For more information, please contact Amber Wallace, Director of Advancement at 231.291.0326 or awallace@muskegoncatholic.org

Mass will be celebrated in MCC's Nugent Auditorium at 5pm with Fr. Mike Olson '59 for those who would like to attend prior to Rainbow Auction.
