Each month from October through May, we honor our seniors by naming two Students of the Month. They are nominated by an assigned staff member for significantly displaying one or more of the following characteristics:
Character isn’t inherited. It builds daily by the way one thinks and acts, thought by thought, action by action. People of character are marked by moral strength and class. They seek what is good, just and true and consistently act on these principles without being conceited or judgmental.
COMPASSION / SERVICE:
“See how they love one another”. People of compassion understand and live by the Golden Rule. They are always ready to respect and help others, especially those in need.
To paraphrase Thomas Edison, Success is “1% inspiration and 99% perspiration”. Committed people do whatever is necessary to achieve the goal and get the job done. They understand that hard work and perseverance are key to individual and group achievement.
Congratulations to these seniors and their parents!
